My loss for the week was 2.4 pounds. I would have like it to be more, but all things considered it’s pretty good. I do think I was a little veggie dense in my soup – couldn’t make myself throw away those extra veggies. And in order to stave of chronic diverticulitis I absolutely have to eat a 1/2 cup serving of Fiber One cereal which adds another 11 net carbs.
I plan to do another round next week, but I’m thinking of using another protein. Maybe stew meat or some fresh green onion sausage – leaving out the chopped onion in the soup recipe. I will be using rutabaga again as I have one in the veggie bin. It worked out pretty well the first time. I still have my eye out for some celery root.
