I am so glad I found this site. It is just awesome. I have tried the atkins approach and my own tortured version of it by going almost zero carb. Results were not good. YoYO weight gain and loss. That said I started changing things this year. Got myslef a fitbit blaze and began really scrutinizing calories and food. I am down from 236 to 211 in 2 months, the last 10 lbs of which I credit to this site. Before I came here I was eating boring stuff. That never lasted, this site has so much good tasting recepies it helped be break through, also they are so simple to make. What a life saver. My goal is 198-205 range and to work with that. I am a 6-1 police officer who has been in good shape most of my life but started gaining weight and changing over the last few years. With the increased activity now and the diet adjustments I am well on my way to success! Thank you Melissa!!

How is it going? You dropped a lot of weight in those first 2 months. Congrats! I’m on IBIH Week 5, and down 17 lbs. Where are you, now?

I am looking for someone to compare notes with. I am older, and probably much heavier than you. I have done well since new years, and am down about 20 pounds. Unfortunately I just lost my husband, due to an accident. At first I lost more weight, because I wasn’t eating. But, I have been receiving lots of FOOD … and BREAD … and PIE …
My weight is slowly creeping up, again. So, come April 1st, I must get back on plan! Are you following the Keto Low-carb meal plans?
