I’m super excited to finally announce the upcoming release of my 2nd cookbook – Squeaky Clean Keto! Loaded with delicious SCK recipes, resources for the Squeaky Clean Keto Challenge, and 4 weeks of meal plans – this is my best book yet! Let’s take a peek inside…

Squeaky Clean Keto is available for purchase on Amazon – as well as Barnes & Noble and Indie Bound! You can also find it at your local Target, Costco, and other major book retailers!
No worries if you have no interest in going Squeaky Clean Keto, these recipes are so good that you’ll want to make and eat them anyway!
Why I wrote this book…
I first launched the Squeaky Clean Keto Challenge here on the website in January of 2019. Since then, many of you have tried it and reported back amazing results! So good in fact, that you’ve decided to make Squeaky Clean Keto a way of life.
To support people that are just starting Squeaky Clean Keto, and people who have adopted it as a permanent lifestyle, I decided to write this book and cram it full of tools and resources, as well as over 125 delicious squeaky recipes.
My hope is that it will help you have success on the SCK plan in reaching your health and weight loss goals, while still eating delicious foods that even your non-squeaky family and friends can enjoy. Even if you have no interest in going squeaky Clean Keto, these recipes are so good that you’ll want to eat them even if you are regular keto!
What you’ll find inside Squeaky Clean Keto…
The first few chapters of this book contain the principles of the SCKC challenge, testimonials of those who have done it, and tons of tips, tricks, and resources to make your SCKC a success (and as painless as possible.)

You’ll also find answers to frequently asked questions about doing the SCKC as well as tips on journaling, saving money on groceries, cooking techniques, and practical suggestions on coping with the physical and mental hurdles of doing the challenge.
To take the guesswork out of macros, tracking, and what you should eat during your 30 days, I’ve also provided 4 weeks of menu plans, complete with shopping lists and meal prep tips.

As a bonus, I’ve also included my famous 5 Day Keto Soup Diet plan in the book, which perfectly adheres to the SCK guidelines. It’s perfect for someone who likes to prep once on the weekend and have all of your meals ready to go for the week. It’s also a great keto reset, and if you read through the comments on the plan here on the website you can see that people have lost as much as 10 pounds or more on it.
Side note, you don’t have to buy the book for the plan, you can find everything you need to know to complete the IBIH Keto Soup Diet Plan free here on the website.
The Recipes
Finally, as mentioned, this book contains over 125 delicious recipes that are so tasty you’ll never have to feel deprived while eating squeaky. Designed to be easy to execute and without a lot of expensive and hard to find ingredients, these recipes are some of my best yet.
I’ve tested them with great results on both keto and non-keto friends and family members, and I’m confident that they will pass the taste test of yours too!
As in my first book Keto for Life, the recipes all have full color photographs, nutrition information, and icons that identify them as belonging to specialty categories.

All of the delicious recipes in the book are dairy free (except butter occasionally,) nut free, grain free, and sweetener free per the SCK guidelines, but you will also find over 50 vegetarian recipes, over 60 nightshade free recipes, over 60 egg free recipes, and almost 70 recipes that can be made in 30 minutes or less!
While there is no desserts section in this book, you’ll find recipes for breakfast, easy and packable lunches, entrees that feature beef, chicken, pork, and seafood, as well as plenty of vegetarian mains and sides. Also a few tasty snacks and plenty of squeaky friendly coffee and beverage recipes to help you kick the dairy and diet soda habit!

Some of my favorite recipes from Squeaky Clean Keto:
This is always my favorite part! While I’m proud of this book for a lot of reasons, and absolutely think it’s full of valuable information and resources, the recipes are where my heart and soul is.
Every single recipe in this book has been tested (and sometimes retested) and passed the “delicious test” for inclusion – so I’m confident (and hope you will be too) in all of them.
That being said, there are a few that were so good that I even surprised myself! 😂😂😂 These are the ones that stood out to both me, and my family and friends – so I’m posting some photos and titles here to whet your appetite for what you’ll find inside once you get your hands on a copy! (also you can pre-order now with the best price guarantee on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Indie Bound!)

This is the best cookbook that I have ever purchased! I went Keto about a year ago and although keep carbs low, ended up going up and down for a bit through the holidays. My husband was recently diagnosed prediabetic and agreed (to my surprise) to try this challenge with me for the month of January. I have heard the words ‘This is the best thing I have ever eaten’ out of his mouth so many times this month that I have lost count. I am making your hemp crackers for the 2nd time and am finding the mixture very dry and crumbly. The crackers turn out delicious but for some reason the dough just won’t stick together completely. Tip? Thanks for everything and congratulations!

Thanks so much Cristina, this comment made my day! If your dough is really dry, try adding water a teaspoon at a time – just enough to get it to stick together well enough to press out!

I was looking for a new eating program and I came across your 5 day Detox Soup Diet. I tried it and found it easy to make and was able to do it for the 5 days. I then tried following your Squeaky Clean Keto Eating Plan. I loved it, as well and within a few weeks, I went down 2 clothes sizes. I first ordered your book from the library, found it fun and easy to follow. so I ordered the book.
It finally came and I love it! Thank you so very much for sharing your program. Just wanted you to know how much I am enjoying the book. Your keto peruvian roasted chicken & green sauce is as good as any restaurant.

Thank you so much for this feedback Jeannine – you made my day!

On your recipe for the Atkins soup, you suggest several substitutes. Thank you fir that!! Do You do the same in your cookbooks? I live in a very small town (<2000) in the middle of SD. There is no way to get some items ( e.g, celerac) and things like sundried tomatoes have to be ordered online or made from the garden. Thank you, in advance.
Mellissa Sevigny says
Where substitutions are possible yes I do make recommendations within either the recipe or in the ingredients section of the book. Having lived in Central America for 5 years, I definitely know the struggle of getting ingredients so I try to use things that can be found or easily ordered in my recipes!

Hi,
I bought the SCK book (yum). However, my health doesn’t permit chia or sesame seeds. Small seeds in general aren’t my friend but I can tolerate ground flax. I’m afraid I won’t get enough nutrition if I leave seeds out entirely. What substitute can you recommend and what would the ratios be?

Hopefully Melissa can answer this for me. If not Melissa, maybe one of your followers has had the same question. I’ve been on regular keto for over a month and not losing much (3 lbs.). I have had your Squeaky book for a couple weeks now but being lazy, have just made a couple recipes. Now I have to get serious as I am sick of cheese and creamy foods.
I am going to follow your squeaky meal plans; starting with week 1 (of course). I have just got into the habit of eating twice a day though (12 noon and 6 pm). Can I incorporate parts of the lunch menu into the dinner menu (or just add a salad or small allowable vegetable). In effect, a bit larger dinner meal? I apologize if this has been addressed elsewhere.
Thanks kindly..
Mellissa Sevigny says
The meal plans are a suggestion – you can customize your own squeaky clean plan using some of the recipes or whatever fits your schedule. Just be sure not to go over 20g net carbs per day if weight loss is your goal.

Just started week 3 of the meal plans, and I love the recipes so far. I loved the curry chicken salad, the ham egg cups, sheet pan burgers, Spanish rice, the ginger beef, the smoothie bowl! I can’t wait to try the muffuletta wrap tomorrow…nervous about making the spinach wrap thing, but I prepped the olive salad this evening and it’s looking SO good!
I’m glad I measured my body beforehand because although the scale isn’t moving very quickly (about six lbs), I’ve lost 9.5 inches already in just over two weeks! Yay for that! I can’t wait to see what the final results will be! (I’m in it to lose weight… I need to lose about 30-35 lbs.)

Mellissa,
I have your new book SCK. One quick question, I do not see a dinner option on week 4 are we supposed to intermittent fast for the dinner meal until breakfast?
Tammy Haller says
I bought your cook book squeaky clean. I Started Monday and I just wanted to tell you, I am impressed with the chicken and Hash. I’m nervous that I wont make it with out something sweet. I will try my hardest. I have been on keto for over 3 years on and off. I took back my life last year when I reached my highest weight. Ever since i went full keto no cheating I am already down 44 lbs. and want to go at least another 20 lbs. and I keep stalling. So found your cook book on Amazon. I have tried a few receipts that i thought I would like before starting. I made the mini meatloaf for our first me. Big Hit my husband and kids hate meatloaf. They asked me to make it again. Thank you for enjoying cooking and making a meal plan that I don’t have to figure out.
