Welcome to the 2023 Squeaky Clean Keto Challenge! Our official start date is Monday, May 1st – although you can start anytime! Whenever you decide to go for it, I’ve put together a new resource full of recipes, meal plans and tips to help make your experience easy and successful.
I’ll say upfront that you can do the 2023 Squeaky Clean Keto Challenge without using this new e-book. It is definitely not a requirement as you can use the existing Squeaky recipes and meal plans here on the site, or if you have my book Squeaky Clean Keto you can use the recipes and meal plans in there.
Or come up with your own menu based on the Squeaky Clean Keto Guidelines.
It all counts, and as long as you are following the plan rules, you are going to reap the benefits and feel amazing!
All that said, for only $9.99 this e-book is full of delicious new recipes, old favorites from the website, as well as some favorites from the Squeaky Clean Keto Book.
Here’s a sneak peek of what you’ll find inside:
Recipe Format
Since this Shrimp Stew recipe is already here on the website I’ll share this screenshot so you can see the formatting of the recipes in the e-book (note that the quality is compressed for this website but the e-book is pin sharp):
The e-book contains 32 recipes (half of which are brand new) and they include some delicious new SCK options like PANCAKES. I know – I’m excited too – the 2023 Squeaky Clean Keto Challenge is looking more delicious than ever!
Here’s a few tantalizing photos of what you can expect to eat during your 30 days:
Are you hungry yet? Can you believe this is what you can be eating on a so-called detox or elimination diet where you will not only lose weight but feel amazing?
In addition to the mouthwatering recipes and full color illustrations for each of them, there are other resources like the guidelines, Frequently Asked Questions, and more. It’s everything you need and then some to complete the 30 day 2023 squeaky clean challenge like it’s nothing!
Of course, the best part about this e-book is the Meal Plans. I did all the tedious macro counting and planning for you, so all you have to do is follow the plans, eat delicious food, and you will see fantastic results!
Meal Plan Format
Here is a sample of the meal plan format (obviously the ones in the e-book are filled in completely):
If you’re intrigued enough to go for it, you can order 2023 Squeaky Clean Challenge e-book by clicking the button below!
Upon payment you will automatically be emailed a zip file that contains 2 copies of the ebook. One for viewing on screen, and another one formatted more simply and with less color so that you can print it easily and without using up all your printer ink.
Have questions? Feel free to leave them in the comments and I’ll answer them as soon as I can.

Hi Mellissa, I’m a 86 year old woman in good health, not new to Keto, but gained back some weight during the pandemic. Just finished the 3 day kick start plan and lost 4 pounds (water). Do you think it’s too soon to start this plan or should I wait a little while to let my body get use to Keto again? I have both your books and love the recipes.

Just received my e-book and looking forward to the new recipes when we start our fifth week (we’re following the four-week challenge from the website, just starting week four). Thank you so much for all your amazing recipes!

I just started on Monday and I absolutely love every single thing I have eaten. I’m a HUGE peanut butter eater it seems to be just sweet enough (I use organic so no sugar) to ease cravings and its an easy snack but since it’s off limits I need some snack ideas. I would normally grab half an avocado or cheese but cheese is now off limits. Do you have snacks that you like to eat on this plan? Can you suggest some? I move/workout a lot and would probably be okay only eating around 1250 calories but I’m STARVING. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Mellissa Sevigny says
Sunflower seed butter is a great alternative to peanut butter as a snack – you can spread it on celery sticks and it works great.
Janet says
I just discovered Sunflower Butter and it’s now my new favorite….peanut who????? I bought a jar of Sunbutter No Sugar Added but it was pretty pricey. I bought sunflower seeds in bulk and used my food processor to make sunbutter, following this method: https://www.culinaryhill.com/sunflower-seed-butter-recipe/ She does include the option to add brown sugar to it, but, of course, I skipped that. I did buy raw sunflowers and toasted them following her directions. It is really good and relatively inexpensive. I got about 3 times as much with the bulk sunflowers for the price I paid for the Sunbutter.

Hi, my name is Angela and I really want to try your plan with out dairy. My question is if you don’t have any dairy what can you take for calcium, etc. for your bones, teeth, etc.? Thanks
Rodney says
The hemp milk is amazingly good. Never would have thougtht it.
One thing about it, though. It has a bitter aftertaste. Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to get rid of it?
I’ll admit I didn’t filter it through a tee-shirt because it was so creamy it didn’t seem to need it. Is that the reason it has a bitter finish?
Mellissa Sevigny says
They will usually only taste butter if they are going rancid – try fresh hemp hearts and you should taste a difference!

Your SCK is such a great way to reset after the holidays. The recipes in this new e book look great! Thank you, I appreciate all you do.
Lisa says
Hi Melissa, I love both your books. I have just ordered the e-Book and realised it’s gone to an old email address I can’t access. Is there any way I can get it re-sent to a different email address? Thank you.
Mellissa Sevigny says
Hi Lisa, I think you are the one I responded to via PayPal – if you send me your current email address at my sevigm@yahoo .com email I will send it there!
Donna says
Hi Melissa,
Sorry as I’m sure this question has been asked before. I don’t drink coffee but love hot tea. Am I able to substitute tea and add Bulletproof C8 MCT oil to it? Thanks! I’m looking forward to the plan!
Mellissa Sevigny says
Yes!
Pam says
Do you have a link to the Physical book, old fashion and like to use a paper copy….
thanks!
Mellissa Sevigny says
There is no physical book for the 2023 Squeaky Clean Challenge, but you can find the original Squeaky Clean Keto book on Amazon.
Angela says
Sorry if this has been answered already, but can the meals be switched out for other days’ meals — like if you don’t like one lunch, can you trade it out for a different lunch in the weekly plan? Thank you!
Mellissa Sevigny says
The days are very specifically planned for macros and some meals are higher in carbs than others. So you could potentially go over your carbs for the day if you have a higher carb lunch on the same day as a higher carb breakfast like the pancakes or bliss bowl. If you want to mix and match I’d double check and count up the daily macros using the nutrition info provided for each recipe before you go ahead with it.

I did the SCKC last year and discovered a reactivity to dairy that I overlooked until I went without. Now I drink iced black coffee and love it. Before SCKC, I was drinking coffee-flavored cream!
I did the Challenge last year with a group of people, and we are doing it again this year. I started yesterday, but my friends won’t get going until Thursday.
I got the eBook and have the SCK Cookbook. I love your recipes when they involve fish. Your spice combinations are fabulous.
I am a satisfied customer! Keto-On
Mellissa Sevigny says
Thanks so much for the feedback Lynne, it’s very much appreciated!
Jackie says
The Amazon site says this was published in 2020? Is this the current version.
Also, are the meal plans/recipes in the book, or do we order the weekly plans separately?
Do the weekly plans have different recipes?
Tyvm!, Jackie
Mellissa Sevigny says
The 2023 Squeaky Clean Challenge sold on this page is brand new and is only available as an ebook. The book on Amazon is the hard copy Squeaky Clean Keto book that I published a few years ago. They are totally different and the meal plans are also different. Both books contain 4 weeks of meal plans using different recipes.
Lisa says
I hate cauliflower rice! There I said it! Hate it, hate it, hate it – I can tolerate califlower mash but for the most part, I hate everything cauliflower – suggestions?
Long time follower and fan!

I haven’t yet purchased the e-book (I’m on my first 30-day challenge with the meal plans Mellissa has online), but I would suggest subbing out another veggie with like macros. For example, in week 3, she has a Coconut Lime Cauli Rice (macros: 107 cal; 9 fat; 2 net carb; 1 protein) served with the Cuban Pot Roast. I subbed broccoli slaw (minus the sweetener. macros: 110 cal; 10 fat; 2 net carb; 2 protein). My Cuban Pot Roast was rather spicy because I only had hot salsa in my fridge, so the cool slaw was a perfect accompaniment! Here’s a link to the recipe: https://www.ibreatheimhungry.com/easy-keto-broccoli-slaw-recipe-low-carb-gluten-free/#tasty-recipes-15778-jump-target

Hi Mellissa,
I ordered the ebook a couple of hours ago but have not received the link. Does it come in an email?
I love your recipes and have tried many of them. They are always winners with the whole family.
Stephanie says
My mistake. It went to my paypal e-mail. Thank you again. The meal plans are awesome.
Sydney says
Eeep! So excited for this! Your meal plans are the only keto meal plans I have found that work for me, because they are no where near as time-consuming and expensive as the other ones I have found. I will purchase as many more meal plans as you can produce.
Mellissa Sevigny says
Thanks so much Sydney!
Karen Green says
Ai! I just ordered the book but it won’t be here until the 9th…and I’ve grown used to using my tablet on kitchen counter so the ebook is perfect! Thanks!
Mellissa Sevigny says
So happy this can fill the gap and I hope that you love the book too!
GEORGENE HARKNESS says
For anyone not sure about this, that Brazilian Shrimp Stew is DA BOMB!!!! I love it so much! Even though, as Melissa says, this recipe is available on the website, the quality of this dish is simply a vanguard for what the other recipes must be like in terms of flavor and quality.
Even though I already have the Squeaky Clean physical book …. I’m in for the ebook. About to order it right now, to get some of those delicious looking blueberry-topped pancakes!
And let me add: the NO DAIRY products means my husband can enjoy these recipes as well. He is allergic to casein, not lactose, but both are in milk products and I am happy we can share these!
Thanks, Melissa. I’ve been needing to get back on the wagon for a LONG TIME NOW.
Mellissa Sevigny says
Thanks so much Georgene! So happy that these recipes are also working for your husband – it’s exhausting to have to cook two meals or figure out what works for everyone when only one person in the house has an allergy so I’m thrilled that this means you can both enjoy them!
Brenda Shearin says
I can’t determine exactly how to sign up for just ebook. There seem to be several options and I don’t want to sign up for any ongoing monthly charge
Mellissa Sevigny says
There is no monthly charge on the ebook – you pay for it once and get the link to download it and the transaction is complete at that point.
