An easy Keto Strawberry Vanilla Smoothie that is Squeaky Clean Keto compliant, and perfect for when you just can’t stand another egg for breakfast! Dairy free, Paleo, and Whole 30 friendly too!

Smoothies are a fantastic keto breakfast option, but creating some within the parameters of no dairy, nut milks, or sweeteners that would comply with the Squeaky Clean Keto Challenge guidelines was definitely not easy. I’m happy to say that this super tasty keto strawberry vanilla smoothie fits the bill, and is a fantastic break from eggs!
This easy keto breakfast smoothie is made with a base of canned coconut milk and water (to keep the calories and carbs down) with some frozen strawberries and vanilla extract thrown in.
Not using sweeteners makes this keto strawberry vanilla smoothie less sweet than I would normally prefer, but being off of all things sweet also makes your taste buds more sensitive to sweetness, so I don’t think you’ll miss it. Of course, the riper and sweeter your strawberries to start, the sweeter the final smoothie will be.
Using vanilla extract also boosts the illusion of sweetness and rounds out the flavors for a nice balance.
If you aren’t on the Whole 30 or SCKC, then you can absolutely boost the sweetness in this smoothie with some erythritol or other carb free sweetener. You can also make this keto strawberry vanilla smoothie with almond milk if you aren’t on a nut free plan like the SCKC.
Finally, blueberries or raspberries can be substituted for strawberries for a similar carb count. Using frozen berries eliminates the need for ice cubes and also keeps the flavors from being diluted.
