So it’s going to be a short post today people. I know, you’re thinking “Yeah right” and I get it, I do. It’s true that I tend to get all “blah, blah, blah…..ramble, ramble, ramble” when I talk about a low carb recipe (I can’t help it, I get excited about food ya know!), but it’s not going to happen today.
Mostly because I’m super busy with the e-book, but also because this recipe is so simple that it just doesn’t require a lot of chit chat.
It’s broccoli, it’s spicy, it’s easy, it’s really really delicious. Make it. Eat it. Love it.
The end.
(see? told ya!)
PrintSpicy Sriracha Roasted Broccoli – Low Carb and Gluten Free

- Put under the broiler for 3-4 minutes until starting to brown and the sauce turns translucent. Remove, stir, and broil for another 2 minutes or so until lightly browned.

?Absolutely LOVE this recipe. By far my favorite broccoli recipe. The perfect balance of flavors. I’ve even made this for mayo haters and they love it.

Melissa, wanted to do something different with some cauliflower I had and tried your recipe ….was GREAT. Really yummy. I did not have lime so did a few drops of sherry vinegar and it worked just fine. A hit with guests as well.

What does one do if they hate mayo? Is there another binder that will work?

I made this for the first time today, and only made a third as I was convinced I’d eat the whole batch at once. I was right :) Delicious, super easy and a perfect side for steak, thanks for the recipe!

So glad you liked it – thanks for letting me know! It’s been awhile since I made this, forgot how yummy it was so I’m going to get the stuff this week to make it again, thanks for reminding me about it! :)

Newbie to the sight but have tried several tasty recipes (Monte Cristo…YUM) But this, my friend, is a HOME RUN!!! I, too, used lemon as I didn’t have any limes. I ate the entire bowl myself and wanted more! I am doubling this next time and not sharing. Wowza girlfriend, I am definitely a fan!

I know right? Just made some the other night for the first time in months – forgot how good (and easy) it was!!! Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for taking the time to let me know! :)

OK so I have tried many of your recipes and haven’t had one bad experience yet. I am novice “wanna be mediocre” in the kitchen. Before I was married I lived on chicken patties and doritos! Haha. But my metabolism and body can’t handle that anymore (pushing 30) so I have been doing low carb and trying to eat less processed food. You are genuious! Lol. Your recipes have flavor and are easy enough for me to follow. My husband even knows where to look for dinner recipes now that I’ll like if he’s cooking. This is the best broccoli ever! I didn’t like broccoli too much prior to this and now I’m hooked. I bought your cookbook too on my ereader. This is going to sounds like a paid advertisement if I keep going…. But thanks for sharing all your wonderful recipes and I look forward to making more!

For some reason, when I made this, the broccoli tasted exactly like fish! :-( Maybe next time I’ll sub in coconut oil for the mayp. I’m not used to the flavor of mayo and think I’d be happier without it!

Just tried your recipe. Used a lemon (no limes in the house). I ate the entire batch myself. Need to run out and get limes now for batch two. Thanks for sharing!
Mellissa Sevigny says
So good! Can’t blame you for eating all of it! And really, if you’re going to eat ALL of something, what better thing than broccoli??? :)

This is the best brocolli recipe I have ever tried! The only thing I changed was subbing lowfat cream cheese instead of mayo because neither my husband nor I like mayo. But it was delish! In fact I think Im going to make it again tonight!
Mellissa Sevigny says
I love this recipe too! It’s my favorite way to eat broccoli now – so glad you guys liked it and I love your idea of subbing in the cream cheese, going to try that next time, thanks for sharing!

Will try it bbq it instead of getting the house hot with the oven at broil. Should work, right ?
Mellissa Sevigny (sevimel) says
Should work fine – if you’re using something with holes in it just watch for flare ups as the mayo melts. Let us know how it comes out on the grill!
