My permanent answer to “What am I going to do with all this leftover ham?” is this Easy Deviled Ham Salad recipe! It’s creamy, spicy, salty, and a little briny from the pickles – it’s keto ham salad perfection!
I don’t even make ham that often, but this deviled ham salad is so E.A.S.Y. and delicious that I will be buying more ham ASAP – just so I can turn the leftovers into this incredibly tasty concoction!
Even the Hungry dudes loved this keto deviled ham salad – in fact while I was out running errands they polished off the rest of it and I was legit sad when I got home and there was none left for my lunch.
Next time I’ll hide it behind the broccoli where it will be safe… ?
What IS deviled ham anyway? If you’ve ever wondered why they call it deviled ham and not just ham salad, then you’re in good company! I googled it and found this article, which basically says the word “deviled” is related to the spiciness that is characteristic of said ham salad.
Now you know.
All I know is that is addictively delicious!
Assuming you make this easy deviled ham salad (and you should,) how can you enjoy it keto-style?
The crackers in the photos are nut thins because that’s all I could find here on the island, and while gluten free they aren’t really that low in carbs. But since yummy low carb cracker recipes like this one abound online, you can definitely make some to have on hand…
And then try not to eat it all in one sitting. #thestruggleisreal
You can also enjoy this easy deviled ham salad with pork rinds, celery sticks, on slices of cucumber, in romaine lettuce leaves, rolled up in a cream cheese pancake, on a slice of toasted low carb bread, the list goes on!
Or just eat it with a fork – totally doable and I’m speaking from experience on this.
Finally, you should know I don’t use the word “easy” in my low carb recipes lightly. This easy deviled ham recipe is totally foolproof and takes only a few minutes to make.
Throw the ham and veggie ingredients into your food processor or magic bullet – pulse for around 30 seconds, stir in your mayo and seasonings and you are done my friends.
Let’s do this!

What a great way to use up the leftover Xmas ham. I had this with celery sticks, I’m new to Keto and practising for the Squeaky Clean challenge. This will definitely be on my snacks list.

You weren’t kidding about how yummy this is! As I am licking tbe spoon, I regret that I only made half the recipe. I am going to have a hard time saving this until lunch time. I am pairing it with a low carb microwave English muffin.

This sounds awesome! I have leftover ham from Easter, although I should probably just toss it as it’s been sitting in the fridge for 5 days! Gasp!
